ACBDA is excited to announce our upcoming Nutrition 101
Basics Workshop
for members!


About the Workshop

This 10-week series is designed to encourage a
happier, healthier lifestyle for all. The series is open to 2026
ACBDA members
. Joining or renewing is quick and simple:

  • Membership: $10 per year (includes access to this
    workshop, our quarterly newsletter, and other ACBDA resources).
  • Once your 2026 membership is active, you’re eligible to register for
    the workshop.
  • Workshop Fee: $15 per participant (covers all 10
    sessions).
  • Registration is required — complete the Nutrition
    101 registration form on our website.

When & Format

  • Day/Time: Thursdays at 8:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM PT
  • Length: Each session lasts no more than 90
    minutes
  • Format: Live, interactive sessions (details
    provided after registration)

  • Week 3 (Jan 29): Midday Magic – Lunch That Lasts
    Explore nourishing lunch options that keep you energized through the
    day.

  • Week 4 (Feb 5): Dinnertime Done Right – Balanced Evening
    Meals
    Learn how to create wholesome dinners that satisfy
    without weighing you down.

  • Week 5 (Feb 12): Sweet Balance – Desserts Without the
    Guilt
    Indulge smartly with tasty treats that fit into a healthy
    lifestyle.

  • Week 6 (Feb 19): Smart Bites – Snacks That
    Satisfy
    Snack ideas that are both delicious and nourishing for
    any time of day.

  • Week 7 (Mar 5): Move to Improve – Activity &
    Movement
    Understand the connection between food and movement
    for better health.

  • Week 8 (Mar 12): Mindful Moments – Eating with
    Awareness
    Tips for slowing down, savoring food, and building a
    healthier relationship with eating.

  • Week 9 (Mar 19): Tech Tools – Accessible Apps &
    Nutrition Facts
    Learn how to use accessible apps and resources
    to make informed food choices.

  • Week 10 (Apr 2): Cheers to Health – Celebration &
    Wrap-Up
    Celebrate your journey, share success stories, and take
    home lasting tips for wellness.
